Nacho
I find old houses interesting - they transform. It’s fun to imagine the original homeowner passing the house down to successive generations, each adding his or her own contribution to the home by customizing it. Say perhaps adding a salon, or connecting the house to the stables. The house thereby becomes a collaboration across time. Dichotomy is the key ingredient of Nacho’s context. Here traditionally-inspired architecture is blended with contemporary. The goal of this project was to craft a house that feels as though the city grew up around it. A country house in the city.
